FireRock Science

Through extensive research and testing, FireRock has developed a complete line of fireplaces with unrivaled safety, performance, and design.

Proprietary Material Mix

FireRock masonry material is professionally engineered to be strong, lightweight, and durable while reflecting maximum heat into the room. Based on a proprietary mix of cement, pumice, and other materials, our fireboxes have been tested to withstand over 3000 PSI, 3 times stronger than our nearest competitor. That is why each fireplace comes with a 20 year warranty and a 100 year life expectancy.

Angled back wall

Hot air rises. Unfortunately, most fireplaces have a straight back wall which allows heat to escape directly into the chimney before warming the room. FireRock Conventional fireplaces feature an angled back wall that reflects heat outwards into the room, not up the chimney.

Radius Lentil

Most fireplaces use square corners at the top of the firebox opening. When smoke contacts a sharp edge, it creates turbulence that may cause smoke to leak into the room. FireRock utilizes a curved radius lentil that naturally guides smoke into the chimney to minimize the risk of smoke spillage.

Large chimney

Chimney size is an important factor that contributes to proper draw in a fireplace. Larger chimneys can pull in more smoke and prevent smoke from escaping into the room. All FireRock fireplaces come with a massive 15″ flue opening, the largest masonry chimney on the market.
